A LITTLE ABOUT ME…
As a recovering people pleaser, I spent years prioritizing everyone else's happiness while neglecting my own needs. It wasn’t until my 40s that I uncovered my true self through deep self-reflection and emotional healing. Now, I’m dedicated to helping midlife moms navigate their own journeys.
I often felt overwhelmed by the challenges of parenting a neurodivergent child, struggling to find my footing amid the chaos. It was easy to blame my circumstances for my feelings of uncertainty and frustration. However, as I delved deeper into my experiences and began to prioritize my own well-being, I discovered new ways to navigate this journey that worked for me, not against me.
As I gained confidence, I realized that I could create a nurturing environment for my child while also reclaiming my own identity. Because here’s the truth: parents of neurodivergent children are incredibly resilient and resourceful. We possess unique strengths in listening, understanding, and advocating for our kids, and we can cultivate meaningful connections with them and ourselves.
In *Calm the Chaos: A Self-Care Guide for Moms of Neurodivergent Kids*, I share everything I’ve learned on my journey to support not just my child but also my own mental and emotional health. I wanted to create something simple, actionable, and impactful to help fellow moms transform their relationship with self-care and connecting with their child.
Whether you’re navigating the ups and downs of your child’s diagnosis, looking to find your sense of self, or seeking ways to create a more balanced family life, this guidebook is your roadmap to thriving amid the chaos and finding joy in your journey!
